Delete your account
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This page explains how to delete your account for Duravel, the training app made by Duravel LLC, on the website and in our mobile apps — and what happens to your data when you do. You can delete it yourself in a few taps, or ask us to do it by email.
Delete it yourself — takes effect immediately
- Sign in to Duravel in the app or at duravel.app.
- Open Profile.
- At the bottom of the page, choose Delete my account, then Yes, permanently delete.
Your account and its data are deleted straight away and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.
Ask us to delete it
If you can’t sign in, or would rather we did it, email support@duravel.app from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. If you no longer have access to that address, tell us and we will ask you to confirm the account is yours before deleting anything. We complete requests within 30 days and email you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details.
- Your profile: name, date of birth, sex, body weight, experience levels, benchmarks and saved race results.
- Your programs, workout logs, extra workouts, check-ins and events, and the changes we made to your training.
- Everything imported from connected services (Strava, Oura, Apple Health) — activities and daily health metrics — and the access tokens for those services.
- Your email preferences and the record of emails and notifications we sent you.
- Our record of your subscription.
Before you delete
- Subscriptions. Deleting your account cancels an active subscription, so you are not charged again. It does not refund the current period; see our Refund Policy. If you prefer, cancel first under Settings → Billing & plan.
- Strava. Workouts Duravel posted to your Strava account belong to that account and are not removed; delete them in Strava if you want them gone. You can also remove Duravel from the connected apps in Strava and Oura.
What we keep, and why
- Billing records. Our payment processor, Stripe, keeps the record of your charges, invoices and payments. We keep these as long as tax and accounting law requires; they do not include your training data.
- A do-not-email entry, only if an email to your address bounced permanently or was marked as spam — so we never send to it again.
- A record of the deletion (your email address and the date), when we delete an account at your request, so we can show the request was carried out.
- Things you gave us separately from your account — an email address left to download our methodology paper, or an application to our coaching waitlist. Ask us in the same email and we will delete these too.
- Backups. Copies of deleted data can remain in our database provider’s encrypted backups for up to 7 days, until those backups expire. They are not used to restore your account.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy. Questions? See Support or email support@duravel.app.
